Our pastors and elders lead Redeemer’s Church by overseeing the doctrine, direction, and discipleship of Redeemer’s Church.

Brent Hisayasu

Brent gives primary leadership to the preaching ministry of Redeemer’s Church, helping ensure that God’s Word is faithfully taught and applied. He also helps lead the overall direction of the church with the elders, staff, and ministry leaders.

Jamie Halverson

Jamie gives focused oversight to the Sunday worship gathering, helping ensure that our services are faithful, clear, orderly, and Christ-centered. He helps coordinate the elements of the service so the church can worship together with reverence, joy, and unity.

Bill Foute

Bill gives focused oversight to Community Groups, helping create places where members can be known, loved, discipled, and cared for. He helps support group leaders and strengthen the life of the church through gospel-centered community.

Dan Whelan

Dan gives focused leadership to the organization and care of the elder board, helping the elders serve with clarity, unity, and faithfulness. He also oversees the Prayer Team, encouraging the church to depend on the Lord through regular, intentional prayer.

Marcus Bernales

An elder candidate is a man prayerfully identified by the elders as one who meets the biblical qualifications of 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, loves Jesus and His church, demonstrates servant leadership, and is committed to preserving unity under biblical authority. Over a season of congregation prayer, elder oversight, theological training, and ministry involvement, he is trained and tested for the work of shepherding the church as an elder.
